Have your say

Your feedback will help us to understand the priorities and aspirations of the local community in Ravenstone and the surrounding area as we prepare our planning application for high-quality homes and attractive public open spaces.

Once you have had an opportunity to read an overview of the plans, and view the interactive masterplan, please take a moment to complete our feedback questionnaire below.

Please ensure feedback is submitted by midnight on Monday 8th December 2025 to ensure that it is taken into account as we prepare to submit our planning application.

If you would like to be kept updated on progress with the plans, please ensure you select “Opt-in to email updates” at the end of the form.

1. Mindful of the site’s draft allocation for new homes in the emerging new North West Leicestershire District Local Plan, do you welcome the plan-led approach to the proposed development?

2. Do you like the proposed design of the new homes, inspired by the Arts and Crafts Movement?

3. The development will include 19 affordable homes in a mix of social rent and shared ownership homes that will appeal the first time buyers. Is this important to you?

4. A range of house types is proposed. What is your priority for new homes in Ravenstone?

5. The development will be gas-free, with all new homes built to be low carbon, including air source heat pumps, uprated insulation and EV charging as standard. Is this important to you?

6. The development is expected to generate investment to support local infrastructure. While this will be determined by the council in liaison with statutory organisations, please let us know your priority for infrastructure investment locally?

7. The landscape-led approach will see the retention of existing trees and the vast majority of hedgerows, with extensive new landscape planting increasing tree cover across the site to deliver biodiversity net gain. Is this important to you?

8. Are you, or someone you know, interested in a new Redrow home in the area?

9. Do you have any comments or suggestions on the proposed development?
