Ensuring that local services receive the investment they need to accommodate housing growth in the area is a key consideration with new development. The proposed development at Ravenstone is expected to generate investment to support local infrastructure and community service.
The extent of investment will be informed by consultation carried out by North West Leicestershire District Council with a range of statutory bodies such as the local NHS Integrated Care Board, local education teams, highways authorities and others.
All financial contributions will be agreed and secured via a legally-binding agreement (called a Section 106 agreement) between Barratt Redrow and the council. This funding is then distributed to the relevant statutory bodies.
