Beautifully designed, energy-efficient new homes

The proposed development will feature high-quality, energy-efficient homes in a range of sizes and styles. The new homes will be delivered by Barratt Redrow’s award-winning premium brand, Redrow. This will include beautifully crafted homes from the Heritage Collection, inspired by the Arts and Crafts movement.

A wide range of homes is proposed, from 1-bed through to 5-bed, ranging from starter homes aimed at first time buyers, larger family homes and accessible properties designed to adapt to the changing needs of residents.

Streetscenes

To provide an indication of how the new homes would appear when view from the Church Lane frontage of the site, Barratt Redrow has produced the following streetscene images which correspond to the site sections shown on the accompanying plan.

Affordable homes

30% (19) of the new homes will be provided as affordable housing. It is envisaged this would include 1, 2 and 3-bed properties provided in a mix of social rented and shared ownership properties. The final mix will be determined in liaison with the council’s housing team.

These images show how the new homes might appear from the site frontage sections indicated by the yellow lines on the plan.

Sustainable homes

Barratt Redrow aims to be the UK’s leading national sustainable housebuilder.

Their new houses across their brands use highly thermally efficient insulation and argon-filled double-glazing as standard, which allows the heat from the sun in whilst minimising heat loss. All homes will be zero carbon by 2030.

In line with Barratt Redrow’s commitment to sustainable building, the proposed development at Ravenstone will be gas-free, with all homes built to the very latest standards of energy efficiency. All homes will be equipped with air source heat pumps, EV charging infrastructure and uprated insulation as standard.
